As we age, we may begin to notice the skin on the eyelids appears to fold or even become hooded. This is caused by a loss of volume and elasticity in the skin.

While surgical options (blepharoplasty) are available, newer non-surgical options are gaining popularity for a safe and cost-effective alternative. By treating the tissue with heat, we can stimulate the skin to produce new collagen resulting in thicker, firmer skin structure.

Our Treatment

The Sylfirm X eyelids treatment is safe and effective and uses tiny, gold needles to deliver RF energy which stimulates collagen production. Skin thickness and elasticity is improved in this way. Radio frequency is extremely safe to use and ideal for treating over the eyes because we are able to set the depth of the needles very shallow and the energy is actually formed at the tip of the needle inside the skin. There is no need for protective eye wear.

Treatments are fast and any discomfort is brief. After treatment, the area may be swollen for 1-2 days and eyelids can feel slightly heavy as well. The eyelids treatment is typically performed as an add-on to a full-face skin rejuvenation procedure.
